In school I sat next to a girl named Markate. She's a real nice girl. We would chat after class and we discovered that we had a whole bunch in common with each other. The most significant similarity was that we both loved to eat. Treats were our favorite. Since we spent so much time at school we would often hang out in the cafeteria. One day we stopped to notice what horrible snack offerings the school had. So we decided to make a difference. We set up a little cookie stand and sold individual cookies. Within one year, we made over $10,000.00 in profit. That soon escalated into a larger business that shortly thereafter became international. We now own 3 bakeries in the tri-state area and we also sell cookies to businesses in 23 countries. We are both semi-retired at the young at of 27. In between our vacation homes in the South of France and Beverly Hills, we tour schools as guest speakers. We try to encourage others that their dream can come true too! | ||||||||||||||||||
